Create a group challenge

Group owners can create one surfaced active or upcoming challenge for a group.

Before you start

Create the group first. Choose a start date after today and an end date no more than three months later.

iPhone and iPad

1. Open the owner controls for your group.
2. Tap Launch Challenge.
3. Under Challenge Info, add the title and details.
4. Choose a Metric and Target Strategy.
5. Set the Schedule.
6. Review Challenge Details, then tap Create.

Android

1. Open the owner controls for your group.
2. Tap 🏁 Launch Challenge.
3. Complete Challenge Info and optional Owner Notes.
4. Select the Metric and Target Strategy.
5. Set the schedule and review Auto Target Preview.
6. Tap Create.

What happens next?

The challenge card appears in the group. Group members do not need a separate public opt-in step from the current group flow.

Troubleshooting

If creation is unavailable, confirm you own the group and that another unended challenge is not already active or upcoming.
